Update the address with smart dpo and tell them to instruct dcbl to do the same
    Of course you don't pay
Thank you. Should I not engage with DCBL directly then, just Smart parking?
    DCB Limited or DCB Legal?
    Its DCB Limited

Debt collectors - ignore them (but not DCB Legal if they write to you).  Smart Parking was an erstwhile parking management supplier to Asda, so it would be well worth a visit to the store, meet the manager and see if they can get it cancelled.

But all the huffing and puffing going on in Smart Parking's name is unlikely to go any further than just that - huff and puff. Smart haven't pursued anyone through the courts for years, and I'm sure you're not going to be their 'revive 45'!
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Oh thank you so much! That's a relief!
Ok so just to make sure I have all the correct advise - I will contact Smart dpo to get the wrong address erased, try and talk to the asda manager to see if they can cancel the PCN and then should I also send the template email from the newbie thread to smart parking or CST law? (who sent me the LBC)

I have received 3 since Januray (I've been away for 2 months so only just got them)
First was a notice of debt recovery £160, then an final reminder and now a final notice saying they will now recommend to their client to begin legal action against me.

    Yeah that's it
And the CST Law letter was an older one, in 2024? Ignore that. Just get your address updated with DCB Ltd and Smart.

Nothing will happen. If it does, come back, as you'll never be paying this.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Ok thank you so much - really appreciate it!
So I don't even need to send the template email to CST Law in response to the LBC? Just ignore all after changing my address?

CST have gone very quiet of late, so I'd ignore them (not that they've been any much of a threat anyway). Only if anyone issues a Letter Of/Before Claim, or formal County Court Claim, come back on this thread. That's about top and bottom of things.
