BA check in still 24 hours before flight?

I haven't flown with BA for a while. I didn't like the way that I couldn't get my boarding pass until 24 hours before the flight. Easyjet lets me do it 4 weeks ahead. Is this still the case? I don't have a printer at home and refuse to rely on the phone. Thanks

Check in opens 24 hours before the flight, or 24 hours before the first flight if on connecting flights.

You can check in online and then print your BP at one of the Terminal kiosks.

It is only some budget short distance airlines that do advance checkin.
    "Regular" airlines are 24 hours

It's to do with the way BA applies seat selection.  BA Gold and Silver members can choose seats for free when they book, Bronze can choose from 7 days before the flight, for everyone else it's 24 hours before at online check in (unless you pay for your seat - like the low cost airlines)

As mentioned above you can check-in online then print a boarding pass at the airport from a self service kiosk, or at the check in desk if there's no kiosk.
