Private parking CCJ and writ of control

ChirpyChicken said:A creditor can do any of the above. But they won't . It's as simple as that. They only use High court writs for cases over £600. They can't use a garshee/third party debt order as they don't have your bank details and in the years I've dealt with parking firms I have never seen a attachment of earnings order.
These firms are to big to bother with these costly and in effective orders
So if you can see off the HCEO then your safe.
Forget a stat demand it isn't going to happen
is this still the case?
I have also been given a CCJ for a private parking fine. Not worried about credit but im concerned about how far they can go to extort me. The latest letter also mentions attachment of earnings & bailiffs.
(sorry to awaken this thread but thought it was better than opening a new one)

If you have a CCJ under £600 nothing will happen and if you aren't bothered about credit you can leave it alone.
If it is over £600, they could send round HCEOs so you would need to apply to stay the writ. You'll need a new thread, if so.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
