Got to get those vowels back from somewhere.
And yes, Abrdn was a stupid rebrand.0 -
Abrdn Elevate still has Standard Life appearing in some places on their paperwork and website.
I did laugh when I got the email this morning about the rebrand of the rebrand. How do you admit it was a stupid move by the predecessor without actually saying it....

I notice their shares initially jumped 10% today. Annoying as I had a few of these but have just divested all the shares in my S&S ISA to move it to a cash ISA in preparation for retirement.
On the other hand, overall that portfolio would have lost more this week than I gained on that one.0 -

Due to people actually being able to pronounce what they were wanting to buy?

It is actually renaming itself aberdeen group ( no capitals ). Presume that is another whizzo marketing idea.LHW99 said:Not sure if this will interest anyone, but Abrdn (puts teeth back in

The lack of a capital really grates with me. It just looks wrong in documentation and news reports. Companies like Intel and Dyson have lower case letters in their logos, but documents referring to the proper name have a capital.Albermarle said:
