Did you get them without the survey?

I checked with relative - he says he may well have done but doesn't remember being offered a reward.

This is the email I received.

To help us improve, we’d like to invite you to complete a short survey. As a thank you, you’ll receive some free CMC Invest merchandise* – a 500ml Chilly’s bottle, notebook, cable charger and tote bag – once you’ve completed the survey.

    Go to survey <link removed>

    Thank you,

    CMC Invest

The survey took around 2-3 minutes.

This is the standard rate (no boost) and comfortably puts it at the top of the league tables, but I don't yet see it listed as such. I cannot see clear information on withdrawal timelines, but again perhaps someone can give personal experience.

I initiated a £1000 withdrawal from my CMC Invest Cash ISA this afternoon and got a message saying funds should be in my linked bank within 3 to 5 working days.

Not the fastest then compared with previous experiences of T212, Chip, etc.

I guess it isn't a problem unless you need access to the cash quickly.

I initiated the withdrawal specifically to check on how long it would take as I do draw down from my Cash ISAs on a monthly basis to cover household expenditure.

I'll report back on how long it actually takes compared to the quoted 3 to 5 working days.

Yes, it says that, but my experience with CMC when making withdrawals in the morning is next working day.

Funds from my CMC Cash ISA withdrawal on Thursday afternoon last week, arrived safely in my First Direct a/c this morning.

As per @wmb194 reply, next time I want to withdraw from the CMC Cash ISA, I will submit the instruction 1st thing in a morning.

Has anyone transferred into CMC recently and can share how long it took?

Their current rate is quite good, 4.85% and a promo rate of 5.7% for the first 3 months.

However I've heard that ISA transfers with some providers can take up to a month, which means you're only getting 2 months of the promo rate instead of 3, since according to their T&C's the promo is 3 months from the date you open your account, not from when the transfer completes.

    Virgin Money to CMC

Requested Saturday 24th May, completed 29th May. We had Sunday and the bank holiday on Monday so basically 3 days. This was my second Virgin transfer and the previous one was a similar timeline. A Chip to CMC transfer took 4 days earlier in April, if I remember correctly.

OH is currently in the process of a transfer from Trading212 to CMC with CMC customer service being brilliant and someone picking up the phone instantly at CMC and we have now entered the chasing game with trading to make them work fast.

Mine was a little slower from Virgin, took just over a week but that included the bank holiday so wasn't to bad in the grand scheme of things.
