I contacted DCB legal today to see whether they would still be open to settle the case for a low offer, they said as the case is in only 3 days that isn't a possibility. It looks like the case is going ahead. My question is, If I lose the case and pay straight away , will my credit be affected before the court remove the CCJ from my record?

No it won't be
Stop being so negative2 -
No there's no effect because the judgment gets immediately cleared when you pay (if you lose).boxing101 said:I contacted DCB legal today to see whether they would still be open to settle the case for a low offer, they said as the case is in only 3 days that isn't a possibility. Why did you contact them? Nobody suggested that. A FAR better use of these last few days would be to go through their WS with a fine tooth comb and look at the signs, the landowner authority et al.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I have been doing that, its also worth noting that the PPC no longer provides service to the land and it has been taken over by another firm, I dont know whether thats something i could use to my advantage?Coupon-mad said:

Nope, no advantage at all, as long as they had landowner authority on the incident date2
