We told you what Dad must do. Has he done the complaint that you found when you searched the forum?

Ignore the DRP junkmail (I've got about 5 of them in the drawer right here next to me), but have you followed the previous advice to complain?
  • Hey everyone,
no I haven’t done the complaint because I can’t find it. What do you mean by when you search the forum.

At the top of the first page is a search box, just put your search terms in there and change "Best Match" to "Newest", make sure you select "Threads" and in "Category" use "Parking tickets, fines & parking"

i recently got a letter to my parents house (I'm 19 taking a gap year and working living with my parents) about a "fine" (realistically an invoice) of a vehicle that I was driving on the day the fine has been issued.

The vehicle is not under my name (dad owns the vehicle) and so far we have said nothing to DPR who are acting on behalf of smart parking LTD.

I have no interest in paying the 170 "fine" that they are trying to get out of me and I have seen threads on people ignoring them however my parents aren't convinced and seeing as the vehicle is under their name they have a right to worry.

The car was recently purchased in November and the day of the charge is in December.

The original PCN fine did NOT ARRIVE to my house therefore I had no idea of this existing until two days ago and they want me to pay the charge of 170 TODAY.

The v5c registration is in the correct name of my dads.

    thank you

Update, just received this in the post today. I have no idea what to do now. They are saying now I don’t have the right to appeal anymore and says eligible for legal action. What do I do I need help asap thanks.

Has your Dad complained yet and asked for the PCN to be reissued?

And then complained to the BPA?

    All is explained here:
