    That's as close to 100% as the OP doesn't need to get
    OP you're going about this entirely the wrong way. If you want something that will fill you up and last until lunchtime then you should be eating bacon and eggs for breakfast. Net carbs=zero

    I am currently pre-diabetic and the programme I'm on still suggests having oats as part of your fibre intake. This is in conjunction with NHS guidelines. 
    As I understand it, oats are low on the glycaemic index so they are more slowly digested giving better blood glucose levels. Though our nutritionist suggests having the larger less processed oats

    I have no label to check on banana carbs, but i accept it.

    as to porridge, i am staring at a pot of tesco porridge 55gms.carbohydrate 15.9, per 100gm (that puts it at abt 8gms of carb. no wonder i am torn.
