Heads Up! Jingle, jingle - Bid to help reduce food waste which unfortunately, continuesIn it's early stages but may very well expand before Christmas and may very well help out those who need help with food. We live in such difficult times when many unfortunately, find themselves making difficult financial choices to make ends meet and survive as best as they can. Much like the ending of WWII with rationing remaining and using ration coupons to pay for things.~ NSD 2025 - NSD July 22/20 (6 x💯)# Spectos/Royal Mail Monitoring and Posting Panel - Ongoing~ Totally FREE Christmas 2025 - 🎁✉️🏷🎀💐🪪🗒🧺⭐️Completed Challenges 2025:# No.36 Make £2025 in 2025 £1634.34 / £2025 (58%) (3) 💯💯+# No.12 Save £2 a Day 2025 2025: £730/ £730 💯# No.27 Save 1p A Day 2025 £667.95 / £667.95 💯# No.19 52 Week Env Challenge £1378 / £1378 💯# No.34 Save £12k in 2025 £13,429.74 / £12,000 💯 - Continuing4

Found a 50p yesterday with prince Charles head on Now trying to collect 6 as advent calender gifts for grandchildren.should be doable as I run 2 different clubs so collect a lot of change . Also had some free offers from Temu and so got gaming sweatbands for the boys. Also started making Christmas cards from my craft stash and old Christmas cards. I did buy 2 beautiful scrap books from the range for £2.99 each ready for recipe books for our DC and their partners. Not totally free but a lot cheaper than my normal gifts and I will get a lot of fun crafting them.also picked up an as new David Williams book from a book stall for a small donation. He is one GSs new favourite author. Again not free but only 50p.

Swapped my broadband over as it was due and got a £100 gift card as a welcome gift. Going to save it and use it as a Christmas present buying card. That will cover all of my wrap ups for the family. That will leave me with only a handful of presents to get.September 2017 Debt = £25330
Starting afresh.
You can do anything if you put your mind to it. x6 -
Have started making Christmas cards out of old cards and the huge supply of bits and pieces including card stock that I have acquired. No cost to me apart from my time. Also we usually book an apartment or hotel room for a Christmas as we travel between both DC on the mainland for the festivities. This year one is completing a renovation/ extension and the other is moving to a much bigger house. We have been invited to stay with them at their respective houses. This will save us around £500.

I collected from Olio tonight and rehomed all the food to people through the app. You can keep 10% of what you collect and tonight there were several bottles of Bulldog Shampoo so I kept a couple for Xmas gifts!Decluttering Challenge 2025/1483

@ Soontobeoap - Super idea with the 50p Advent Calandar and the Scrap Books for £2.99 that's a bargain when you consider that they will turn into a personal receipe book. It's very difficult to fins a half decent scarp book at the bst of times but when you see something that is beautiful and really fits the bill, then a reduction on Christmas gift spending costs is still a very welcomed bonus! Loving the Christmas cards
I will admit that I upcycled mine and finished making them all in January along with the envelops and writting them all up
@ Yoshimi2025 - I love Olio. I do H&B only because no one seems interested but they have some fab stuff that I can always use to feed the foxes and sometimes the Swans plus the other items which I can always declutter off to a new home

@Dizzycap I don't thinkI would ever be organized enough to write my Christmas cards that early but I am desperate to avoid the panic that I have in December to get them all done when I could get that one out of the way earlier.craft stash 2023 =161, 2024 = 119 2025 = £25.96 spent, 128 made and 5 mended,

@ Soontobeoap - I avoid Christmas stress at ALL costs. For the Christmas gifts I have to send, which is 2, they get sent off st the beginning of September to avoid Christmas post rushes, loses etc. 4 cards get posted on the 1st of December with FREE stamps and the rest, along with gifts all get hand deliver by the end of the first week of December. Job done!As for food, Mr. Sains always has fantastic deals towards the end of November on meat, so I get what I need for December & January with my Nect points and freeze. Veggies I buy with points on the week of Christmas for 8-10p and I stock up on loads of FREE veggies all stored safely in on of my outside sheds. I've still got at least another 2+ months worth to use up
I've already got the Christmas pudding, well 2 x large M&S deluxe basket specials which my mother purchased in January for £1.50 each. They last for years
