Samsung Trade in Device Market value was GBP 50 when accepted, now they would only give 10

Your device was fully working? No major scratches etc? If so, I think you are right to be aggrieved. I’d argue about it with CS for a bit, then issue a LBA, followed by court proceedings claiming £50. 

Yes, it was a working device with fair wear and tear, and they themselves agreed, as they process it. Thanks for the pointers, Sorry, could you please mention what is CS and LBA please?

I dint check their this  website at the time , as when added the trade in device it was priced to 50 GBP at order page on Samsung UK shop website, and they took off that much from the total of new phone and it was fully processed on that. Their this website is still quoting 40 GBP for condition of my device but being offered just 10 .

They costed it 50 bucks when added my trade in device while ordering and processed for same amount later. their this website is still showing 40 GBP but I am being offered is 10 .

Customer service is CS

Letter before action is LBA. Give them 2 weeks to pay you, and remind them that they will be liable for court fees and other charges if they lose. 

Be sure to check whom your contract was with, so you sue the right company. It’s not worth their time to defend a £50 claim, so they’ll probably cave when the court papers arrive.

I was not sure how to proceed with this matter, could send them now . I have requested for appeal as I have explained them this over the phone to get same template answer regardless.

Screenshot: I have , and also their email of fully processed device on the 50 GBP.

thanks, yest it was a trade in exchange, but now they want to shrug off with the recycle value, when it should be trade-in value, set by themselves, I am not asking for more, all I wonder is if they don't want to give back what is promised and agreed upon themselves.
