Travel adaptor

I'm looking for an adaptor to use on a cruise. It needs to adapt from UK to US sockets (to clarify the socket in the cabin will be a US type) I have an old one that I could use but I'd like one that also has a couple of USB outlets. I'm befuddled by the offerings on Amazon. Top priority for me is safety. Thanks for any advice or recommendations.

I'd recommend one by Anker, I have a four USB UK /EU plug adapter from them which is great.
I have several other Anker products of a similar type which are all good quality.
Having had a quick look, there's this UGreen one (we also have a few of their products) which does UK/EU/US

Or this cheaper one which is UK to US

Emmia, thanks, that is very helpful. I'm familiar with Anker and UGreen looks decent quality too.0

Look for a universal travel adaptor, that way it can be used in many countries.
Check the appliances you take with you and get one that can also act as a chargerPast caring about first world problems.1 -
US sockets aren't just different shape but different voltage. You'll need to make sure your devices will work at 110V, or get a voltage converter. Also check the current/power limit of any adapter if you're using it for anything high power like a kettle or hairdryer etc.

Thanks, it would just be for charging my Kindle, phone and tablet (both Android). I believe there is also a European socket in the cabin.0

I bought what you are looking for in Bodycare last week - £2.99.

Take an 4 way extension lead to use with your UK/US adaptor and use your normal chargers for phone / kindle etc.
Probably cost you nothing then.3 -

My travel adaptor works in US, Europe and Australia, has a single universal socket on the front, 2 USBA and 2 USB2 sockets 65W GAN. Not much bigger than a single charger, just need to pack that and the required cables.Past caring about first world problems.1 -

OP which ship? Many US based cruise lines also have a UK or EU 240v socket and USB sockets. For USB charging I use these.

They can be used with any generic multi adapter.0
