I don't know how accurate this is but I called the PIP line and was able to check my payment via the automated option, according to that my payment is still the same (£749.80), also nothing has changed with my rent or council tax (my son is my carer and is disregarded for rent and council tax) and the council are usually quite fast with that and no notifications from UC to say that anything has changed, they pay the rent directly to the council for me.

Still trying not to get my hopes up.

What's the chances of them giving me a longer award if I requested it on the form? Like I said in other posts, I've received 2 x 5 years so far, my health hasn't and isn't likely to change.
I think you need to decide around your anxiety here - what is causing most anxiety right now. You're anxious about the outcome and want to know it but you're reluctant to find out because of anxiety - I get that but reality strikes and you have to choose... wait for the decision letter or don't is the only advice I can give here as they may well tell you the outcome if you call (assuming a decision has been made - may not have been yet!) and of course you can request any paper based report generated (in some limited cases no referral is made for independent advice by DWP so there is no report) which likely conveys what will be outcome. We cannot give answer on the last question but in my opinion you're likely to get a similar outcome compared to previous assessments given it was paper based and they felt they had enough evidence alongside what sounds like enduring and static reported disablements.

If you were unhappy about award length when decision comes.... consider reconsideration request on basis only of award length as this can be done pretty risk free. Some tips on what you might want to think about for such an argument made to DWP can be requested - I had a successful challenge on award length in my threads as example where I detailed the points I raised.

Ahh I thought a decision had been made with them saying "Your PIP review is complete. You should receive your decision letter in 2 weeks." etc. There is a lot of conflicting things on the net and I find it a bit confusing and overwhelming at times. At least I know now, thank you.

I did read that there are quite a lot of people being told that they can't tell them over the phone and what you said about reports. I'll just wait until next week which is when I ought to receive the letter.

I may do that if all is well and it's not been extended.

I was awarded the same for 6 years but I'm not happy with the points as they ignored my swallowing issues and the fact that I struggle to prepare food but they did give me 4 for engaging this time although that's also incorrect but it's better than 2 or nothing. I got 20 for mobility again and this time my DL was 15 rather than 12. At least it's out of the way for 5 years.

Pleased you've now got result. My quick thinking on this would be if you have at least one 4 or more point scoring descriptor on Daily Living activities as you have, and you're getting maximum award, and you've got award for good length then leave alone. They will commonly have inaccuracies and maybe the best time to try putting those right is perhaps with future reviews when you're forced to engage them again. You could do a reconsideration on the length of award but it is a good length and I would only do so if compelling argument could be made. Probably one to chalk up as a victory.

No, I'll leave it, I'm ok with the award length which might sound weird as it's only a year longer but at least it's a full 5 years before they assess again.

Yeah I'm just going to keep reiterating my struggles with each review and if I get diagnosis for my conditions in the meantime, I'll make sure to add them the next time I have a review (I know it's not based on diagnosis but the DWP tend to list mine when giving reasons for things).

Thanks for your help and for responding to my posts, I appreciate it.

When they send an extension letter how long is the extension for?. Mine finishes May 25th but I haven't had a letter and today I received a text message saying "we still have your form". Thanks.
Should be a year. If you don't receive letter by early May contact them perhaps.
Thanks again Muttley. Letter arrived this morning 👍
Just received a text from Pip/maximus saying they're managing my assessment and looking at my evidence. Wasn't expecting that so soon after the extension letter ☹️ Was also surprised to get text from them  at 8.45 pm.
