Hello again,
Just wanted to update this post, I received a text this morning and it appears that I was given a paper based assessment, I don't know if that's good or bad but we'll have to wait and see, I'm not going to request the report at this point in time due to my my mental health not being great and it impacting my FM and other conditions.
Previously I received 2 lots of 5 year awards at enhanced rate but I know that can change and it can be lowered or removed. I also made sure to fill the form in myself with some help from a guide and advice from people like Poppy and put plenty of anecdotal evidence with examples of what has happened when I've tried certain things.
Quite anxious and nervous but I'll just have to wait for the letter. *crosses fingers*.2 -
Your anxiety is 100% normal.
As this is a PIP review then it is reasonable for a paper review to be caried out. this is because there is enough evidence, given your conditions to carry out an assessment without further input fromyourself. It may also mean they may have taken into account the furhter stress that an full assessment may cause and the effect on your mental health.
Once you have the decision you still have the right to appeal as per a normal PIP claim, if you disagree with the assessment outcome.
Hopefully youll hear soon.Proud to have dealt with our debtsStarting debt 2005 £65.7K.

I don't know how accurate this is but I called the PIP line and was able to check my payment via the automated option, according to that my payment is still the same (£749.80), also nothing has changed with my rent or council tax (my son is my carer and is disregarded for rent and council tax) and the council are usually quite fast with that and no notifications from UC to say that anything has changed, they pay the rent directly to the council for me.
Still trying not to get my hopes up.
What's the chances of them giving me a longer award if I requested it on the form? Like I said in other posts, I've received 2 x 5 years so far, my health hasn't and isn't likely to change.2
