I'm a bit late joining this month but I'm starting now. The fridge, freezer and cupboards have plenty in them and then some so I'm reducing my target for this month to try and shop from home a bit more. We've got household repairs to pay for so it's good to rein it in a bit.
£200 for me please.

First 2 shops of the month totalling £114.04. Yikes, only the 5th of the month and already I've spent over a third of my budget. Will have to rein it in.7

Hello again everyone,
As requested here is the fat free baked cheesecake recipe I use:-
Baked yogurt cheesecake recipe | delicious. magazine
I use fat free cottage cheese and maple syrup rather than honey. I also use the sugar free digestive biscuits you can get from HB and B&M - I like a thicker base so I double the quantity add oats instead of grape nuts and mix with melted butter and apple sauce/ puree. It has about 8g of fat per serving I reckon by the time I've made my amendments!
I serve with fresh fruit and cream and my friends all think it tastes delicious.
Wishing everyone a happy Wednesday!

Evening Everyone
I hope you enjoyed the sunshine 🌞 today.
One spend to declare of £20.72 I wasn't intending to spend that much.
But there were 500g of salmon reduced from over £7 to £3.07 so l brought two. Plus £5 on flowers for a friend.. The other £8 went on stock cubes, hash browns, squash, mushrooms. Plus carrots. and part baked baguettes to go with todays chicken soup (froze a carcass a few weeks ago) . It had been ages since I made one for dinner, the warm bread was well received 😋.
New totals £136.55 / £500
In other news, ive just received my water bill a whopping 20% increase 😳 between that and council tax that's an extra +£30 l have to find each month with no extra income. Just as well the food spend is under control to balance things out.

Good afternoon from a hotel room where I am resting. I did a lot of peopling, traveling, and walking yesterday and I am beat. I’ll work from the hotel room today then head to another event tonight.
On the way to a networking event last night, I discovered an East Asian store around the corner from my hotel. I briefly did a survey, attended the event then stopped back into the store on the way back to the hotel. For the household, I bought an 8-pack of instant miso soup with fried tofu and wakame included. We have the non GF version at home and are down to our last packet. This batch only cost £2.69 for 8.
It’s a really nice and comforting drink to take edge off the chill or to start your day with it. I’m glad I was able to easily find more. I was saving that single packet for best / emergencies 😂
£113.78 / £350 spent. £236.22 total remaining.
£34.15 of bulk funds left.

So we have £14.84 from A!di yesterday and £10 to community food today. Fridge full again, cupboard looking better too. I have a tiny letterbox freezer in the fridge so I am now going to cut up pizza, take chicken pieces out of wrapping etc so I can freeze a little at least. I'll be having curry for a couple of days as I got some from CF and no room in freezer but happy with that. Curry n rice day 1, curry n chips day 2

I might try Aldi for the first time today. I've heard that their fruit & veg can be a bit hit and miss and i dont want to waste money on fruit and veg that goes bad quickly. Does anyone shop at Aldi and can let me know please?
I'm also going to write a meal plan for the week before i go, and will do some meal prep this aternoon.GC Jan £101.91/£150 Feb £70.96/150 Mar £100.43/150 Apr £108.45 app/150 May £149.70/150 Jun £155.15/150 July £74.69/£150 (includes food, toiletries and cleaning from 13th to 12th of each month. This is what I got below. Only the eggs are for when DGD visits. I don't think I did too bad.I probably wouldn't have normally bought the Biscoff; but I've only got marmalade in the fridge, no other spreads, so it can be cracked open when that's gone. The rest of the ingredients will be used up for baking. I have pancakes all the time ( albeit mostly American style), so not making any today.GC Jan £101.91/£150 Feb £70.96/150 Mar £100.43/150 Apr £108.45 app/150 May £149.70/150 Jun £155.15/150 July £74.69/£150 (includes food, toiletries and cleaning from 13th to 12th of each month.
