It says county court hearing on 14th august 2025.
Claimant has until 24th july 2025 to pay trial fee of £27.
It also says each party must deliver to the other party and court office copies of all documents no later than 14 days before hearing.
So it looks like need to send witness statement by maximum 31st july?
So is there a chance case might get struck out before i even submit witness statement, if they fail to pay fee?
Everyone knows, if you read Umkomaas' DCB discontinuances thread. Please show us the NoD when it arrives. Not the email.Just as I logged in now, i got an email from DCB."We write to you in relation to the above matter
To assist the Court in achieving its overriding objective, our Client may be prepared to settle this case. I can confirm our Client would be agreeable to £60.00 in full and final settlement of this Claim.".
Should I ignore or make a silly offer to them?!

Yay well done! Congrats and thanks for that.
I see your success is already in the disco thread. Expected but brilliant outcome.
ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST!
Please read this message and do the current Public Consultation in August:

It's vital the Government hears from good people with unfair charges who have to face horrific, scary court claims.
The link shows the two vital points to concentrate on, IMHO:
- banning DRA fee add-ons completely
- making sure a new SINGLE appeals service replaces POPLA and the IAS which are seen as not fully independent and involved in a 'race to the bottom'.
Do not be deterred by the fact that some questions are for the parking industry only.
See the link and follow it through to the main thread about the new statutory Code plans, where we are discussing how to respond. Please join us in doing this Consultation.
This is your one chance to make a difference re the imminent regulation of private parking. It is coming. Help shape the final decisions.

Please keep 'nudges' coming because my 'Notifications' are spotty to say the least. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
