Good luck with the new job, round - I hope it's less fraught than your current one xx
DS1 rang me at 7.30 and got me out of bed, so I have let Rosie out, taken my morning meds, replied to a text from a friend, done the finance check, and started thinking about entering more family history records onto my family tree on the PC. I'm ready for breakfast whenever DH calls me down.
Today I need to
- ring the optician (what do they call them nowadays??? - the person who tests your eyes, not the dispenser)
- ring the local archives as well as those in a nearby town to see if they have microfiche copies of the parish registers i need in order to progress further
- do the dailies
- strip my bed and wash my bedding - wish I could hang it out in the sunshine to dry, but I definitely can't reach up to put it on the whirligig
- use the ingredients DH won at the SW group raffle on Tuesday to make frittata
- walk Rosie while lunch is cooking
- visit the church treasurer to discuss grant applications and other steps towards fundraising
- cook tea
- re-make my bed, hopefully with help from DH.
No doubt other things will crop up during the day!
Have a good one, Flyfriends xxx

Working my way through a long list of small jobs that need to be done, shouldn't take too long each and will be a wonder when they're done:- dust the glasses shelves- prep the spuds for tonight- finish the hob- sweep and wash the kitchen floor- peg out the second load- wash the rest of the filthy dog blankets and towels- clean up the three areas of carpets that need it- sort out the blackbird's fud- give the bathroom some love- wash the dusters- phone the Foodbank- get cat fud down- dog fud spattered walls and paintwork. It would be wonderful if I could get all that done today. I'm feeling so much better after my hideous three weeks I'd like to think it would be possible.-Better is good enough.7

Morning all. Glad you're feeling a bit better HB. I'm still not quite right. Need to see doc after recent blood tests but first appointment available is 21 March.
Today, I've done a work shift, walked Poppet, done most dailies, S&Sd bathroom and downstairs loo, and hoovered most of house. The Sh@rk doesn't seem to be keeping its charge very well now.
Going to wipe down some paint work next.Spend less now, work less later.7 -

ETA didn't manage any more - will add leftover task to tomorrow's doings"I started out with nothing

I haven't phoned the Foodbank, but apart from that the listy is almost complete - I've just got to rinse out five pieces of handwashing and I'm done. A lot of things on that list have been bothering me for quite a while, so it was worthwhile ploughing on until I'd done it.

Good afternoon,
A late check in from me, as we have been out for most of the day. In the sunshine, to boot. Yay to signs of spring.
We went into big town this morning and routed ourselves to go via 2 stops for errands - friend’s admin work dropped off and a parcel posted. On to the far reaches of big town to meet an ex- colleague of DH’s for coffee, followed by clothes shopping for DH in the neighbouring mandess. This is a roughly bienniel (?? every 2 years!) occurrence, for which DD and I take it turns to shoulder the burden. And burden it is. However he has come away with the jeans and trousers that he wanted needed, plus agreed to a decent shirt and a t-shirt, so I am taking it all as a win, especially as he has tried it all on so I know we won’t be repeating the ordeal. I managed to get my onion sets and more bird feed while we were out as well.
Back home much later than I had hoped but I have now cleaned the bathroom and the wm is loaded with DD’s bedding for tomorrow so that it can hang outside all day in the forecast sunshine.
Not a lot of flying in all that, but a job ticked off.5 -
I've been missing in action for a long time, though continuing to fly around the house. However, after seven weeks of being really poorly over December/January, my poor little bungalow is desperately in need of a deep clean. I've been hoovering and mopping fairly regularly, but with a very fluffy pussycat (I could knit a kitten with the fur every time I hoover) it needs more attention than I've been giving it over the last three months. Thanks Valli for the lists, I'll be following along and will check in occasionally.Note to self: I'm a human being, not a human doing! 😊6
