Sorry if I missed it in a previous post, but how many days per week do you work and how many hours per day? If working 3 full days per week the number of days of leave entitlement will be 3/5 of a full time employee working 5 full days. The most common way of handling leave entitlement for part time employees is to state how many hours leave the entitlement is.0

When you were paid holiday pay, was it for 4.5 hour days, or more than usual?Signature removed for peace of mind0

The way it's being worked out is completely wrong.
I would go back and state are you only allowed to take holiday in December? Is this the case for everyone in the company? If not then that's discrimination. If it is then how does the company operate in December with everyone on holiday?
And speak to payroll direct. Even the manager of that department.
You could also speak to you manager's manager.
And access your last 5 years payslips to see if this has happened before. You could be owed a lot of days holiday

If a full time worker gets 20 days plus Bank Holidays, you would get a proportion of that. Assuming the standard working day is 7.5 hours you would get 4.5 divided by 7.5 times by 28. That’s 126 hours (including the Bank Holidays).
If someone has recorded your 10 days leave and 8 bank holidays as 135 hours - 18 times 7.5 hours - as if you were full time, then you would’nt have had any leave left. Because 135 hours is more than 126 hours.1 -
So no one in the organisation can have any holiday in January as no one will have accrued any holiday.
You need to speak to HR as what your manager is saying is unlikely to be true.0 -
