Hi, I have been issued a PCN for Marchburn Drive, Paisley and following the threads from back in early 2025, I have 'sat on it'. I now have my 'Final Chance Before Action' letter. Can anyone confirm whether it is still the case that I should ignore. I am concerned I may have missed some vital information or changes in process.
No changes yet. You can ignore this one. Nothing will happen.

Scotland will likely get 'keeper liability' in late 2026 at the earliest.

Won't mean you then have to pay private PCNs but it will put you on the same footing as in E&W and there will be a regulated process to appeal any new private PCNs.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    New paperwork arrived today.

From bwlegal requesting £170 by early April.

At no point has the driver been identified.

Things that are different: draw & drawer, brought & bought, loose & lose, dose & does, payed & paid

Show us the letter. Are they threatening county court even though you stay in Scotland?

I meant to upload it in the previous post.

    Sorry about that.

OK so ignore that. BW Legal do not sue in Scotland and wouldn't know how.

Presumably as they have no knowledge of the driver then this is just another threatogram, and a pretty poor one at that.

Wonder if our devolved government (sic) will get around to actually introducing that keeper liability law that was passed? Will not happen until after the upcoming elections 😉
