P60's

I am having problems obtaining annual P60’s from my pension administrator (PIC)

PIC took over my pension from my former employers, in house team – who used  to send me P60’s on time, every year…

I have just had an extremely long, on line chat with PIC which resulted in nothing.

They have a “Member Zone” that certain customers have access to – but my pension scheme has no access and PIC cannot give me any idea when it will be added.

I assumed that everyone, even pensioners were entitled to P60’s by law ?

Do you have access to payslips from the pension? You can work out your total tax paid if you have access to the payslips for the tax year. They should be providing a P60, and are in breach of PAYE regulations if they don't. HMRC will be interested...
The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.

Why do you actually need a P60 ?  Mine arrive and go straight into the file without really even being looked as I know exactly what is on there as it is all shown in my HMRC account.

Then that's why you didn't receive a P60 - there was no need for it. ie, no tax and no NI.

Because I have no documentation at all - showing my pension amount.
it IS in my HMRC account but that is all
They won't even give me access to the MEMBERS ZONE online

If you do not have a P60

If you cannot get a P60 from your employer, you can either:

surely everyone who earns any income should receive P60's ?
anyway - also I am unable to do other things via their website such as change address, bank accounts, or  view historic statements etc
one of my other ex employers pays me £40 pa pension- and I receive P60's on that amount

No obligation to issue P60s if no tax deducted, according to The Income Tax (Pay As You Earn) Regulations 2003:

67.—(1) Before 1st June following the end of the tax year, an employer must give a certificate (Form P60) to every employee—

    (a) who was in the employer’s employment on the last day of the tax year, and

    (b) from whose relevant payments the employer was required to deduct tax at any time during that tax year.
