I don't get any of that with a pc.
Mobile phones and (some) tablets have narrower screens.

Don't developers ever test on mobile platforms before deployment (sigh)?

...and I've just added a temporary fix.

Please let us know if you see anything that doesn't look right.

There are still some pages where you'll se spaces:

    - The Homepage
    - Search results
    - Latest Threads

Those need a bigger change. But I'll add our fix to that page later today if we don't see any problems caused with this fix.

(Edit. Bigger temporary fix now in place)

There's too much white space within individual posts.
When you hit Return at the end of a paragraph the system adds another line break automatically.  It also adds more breaks at the end of a post, more and more as you keep editing.
If you compare my posts with those of @Scot_39 you'll see what I mean.
Until it's fixed the answer is to hit Return only once at the end of a paragraph.  In Windows you can click on the </> symbol and delete unnecessary appearances of <br>.

If I leave a blank line between paragraphs the system inserts space.

So this line has a spare line above it but not below it - and that makes it look crowded as type.
So this line probably looks better spaced when view posts - but looks cramped as typed.

I suspected for a while my issue might be in part that I block typekit on some of my systems - blocked by my script blocker under Firefox on my Windows PCs - and as it doesnt get a clear rating from all major security suite providers I wont tend to enable it.

And the button </> makes it look even less legible before posting - havent tried going back in to edit.

PS I do sometimes look at the posts and go back in and delete some of the spaces - but its a pain.

    Edit PPS

But some of my posts will be from Chrome on Android systems  - Samsung phone and tablet - and Chrome and or Firefox on Linux.

If I use the </> it seems to convert everything into one formatless paragraph.  Which people often complain about.

    Hi everyone

I think this issue has been resolved earlier this month.

I'm going to remove the fix I put in last month. Please let me know if you see any issues with whitespace.
