Man, do I feel ill today. And it's not just because I'm back at work. Or maybe it is? I think it's a serious lack of the colour green in my diet the past week.
Okay, so today I want to buy an xbox game, but hope to spend less than £20 on that (money from my grandmother). With any luck will have enough left over from that for lunch too.
I checked my piggy bank last night and it has over £20 in it. That is my playing poker with my buddies money.
I'm hammering out a plan for saving in 2008 (against my student loan). In order to earn more interest per month than I am (currently) being charged, I need to save roughly half of the balance of my student loan. That's about £8000.
So, goals for 2008...
1. Save £8,000 - that's £650 per month - interest will take care of the rest
2. Save £20 per month towards xmas presents
3. Lose one stone in weight and keep it off.
I wanted to buy a new laptop, but that would cut into the goals above, so will put my mind to raising the cash another way - pay for it by generating extra income.

Hoping for a NSD here. I peeked out of the door, and it's cold, so I'm staying inside

Rog, sorry to hear you're having work problems. I really dont think it's fair that they expect you to take holidays if they have no work for you. At this rate, you'll have no holidays to take when you need/want them :rolleyes:Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

I know what you mean. I've got my dads 60th on saturday. But I had already decided that that won't be included in my budget as he's only 60 once bless him. So thats my one blow out.GM Credit Card balance - £895.69Mortgage - £67499.17 - MFiT no. 123Make £10 a day - April 2008 - £158.75/£3000 -
Hi everyone. Happy New Year!
Yesterday I spent £3.80. Today I'm hoping to spend less, but I need eggs and who knows what else might catch my eye? :rolleyes:The 365 Day 1p Challenge 2025. Member #420
