Thanks- defence emailed and automatic reply received.
I see in the ‘practice direction 5B’ I should have included name and contact details in the email- is this going to matter? I just used the wording on here.
Thanks0 -
It's fine.
The court now has your email address and already knows your address from the ClaimPRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Just about to scan and email my directions questionnaire. I have followed your guidance to answer all the questions, my only questions are…
Obviously I have to fill it in with my husband’s details but should I put myself in as a witness, as I was the driver? And if it goes to court can it be me doing the talking instead of him?
I have put my phone number for the mediation call, although there isn’t a box to say it is someone else taking the call. Thanks so much!0 -
You can go with him to any hearing and would both be witnesses. So put '2 witnesses'.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Just FYI mediation call coming today- 16th May!
How long after is the hearing date usually? Hopefully they discontinue!
Thanks1 -
Hi,
I’ve now had a notice of transfer of proceedings. When along the line are they likely to discontinue if they do?
Also, I now have an email from intellipark who are saying that DCB are willing to discontinue if I don’t make a counter claim!! From Starbucks chasing it basically! Who can I send this to, to get it discontinued quickly?
I can send you a screenshot just not sure whose email I would need to hide?
Thanks0 -
Any discontinuation will be in several months time, just before they have to pay the hearing fee to the court, so unlikely in the meantime, so probably be in several months time
Meanwhile, ignore the legal company and keep following the 12 steps in the defence template thread
It takes a long time, so strap in1 -
You'll know when discontinuation happens by reading some of the 580+ examples in the DCB Legal discontinuances thread.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
