EasyJet - compensation for changed itinerary.

Hi all,
With 3 months' notice, EasyJet's changed the itinerary of my booked flight. It's now due to arrive in Palermo at 21:30 rather than 10am -- which means I'd miss the reason for my trip.
My only option is to buy another flight on the previous day, buy an overnight stay, and lose a day of work. Am I entitled to any form of compensation from EasyJet?
Thanks.

You have 3 options, none of which involve 'compensation'.
1) get a refund
2) get a voucher
3) change your flight (avoiding the £30 charge by contacting customer services).
The flight has to be 'disrupted' by at least 5 hours to qualify. It takes some time to get beyond the chatbot and speak to a human, but I found the human very efficient. The money was back in my account the next day.#2 Saving for Christmas 2024 - £1 a day challenge. £325 of £3663 -
Only from your travel insurance - anything else affected - prepurchased tickets, rentals etc.
EasyJet is only required to replace your flight for one that suits better or refund what you paid.1 -

Speak to easyJet. They should rebook you on the flight then day before.1

The new arrival time will be 11.5 hours later than what I booked. Are you saying that doesn't qualify as 'disruption' because they've given so much advance notice?
Thanks. The second is the issue of compensation and because it’s this far out you aren’t entitled to any form of compensation. Airlines routinely adjust their schedules and it’s part and parcel of what they do. A change over 14 days out doesn’t trigger any compensation.1 -
I suspect I'm preaching to the converted here - but I would not consider accepting a voucher from Easyjet under any circumstances, a refund in accordance with the regulations is a no brainer.Opinion based on recent(ish) bad experience with them.1
