He said to the salesman, “My wife would like to talk to you about the Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
Salesman said, “We haven't got a Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
The man replied, “You have now mate".3 -

Fingers crossed that Allsaints reject the transfer.

Yes I know but I had the wrong glasses on. Looks like a court case as it was my fault. My fault or not , not one person has mentioned the person or business who has this money fraudulently. I'm now trying to get the details from head office then it will be a civil court matter.. it's seriously making me ill. I'm fighting for money that's hsbc money and they say I've got to pay it back.0

This will not be cheap or any guarantee that the money will be paid back.0 -
don't worry - if the card details were correct ie you put the correct 16 digit long number it would not have gone to anyone else's card even if you put alllsaints instead of sainsburys - the numbers are unique
it is most likely still with hsbc somewhere0 -
This exact same thing has happened to me. HSBC have put the onus on me to investigate where the money has gone. also, same issues as the top person. Allsaints mastercard, I cannot find this company... im a Premier HSBC member, this holds little weight for this bank. im on the verge of complaint to the financial ombudsman. Its so far cost me £450 in interest payments on a debt that technically doesnt exist. and its been going on for 5 months now.0

Found this & have exactly the same problem. Correct account number etc but supposedly incorrect bank & theyve just sent it. The interesting part is i was also told it was an all saints mastercard too but they dont exist. Ombudsman saying its gone to a creation account which iasdunr maybe to do with an online shop. This transaction was 31st August 2024 & no as of 30th may still unresolved & HSBC seemingly uninterested. Im waiting on the ombudsmans decision now. By the way HSBC reversed 10% out of nowhere when i rang one day. No reason why nothing they just said it wss happening on the phone in november 2024. Since nothing case closed for them. Shambles.0
