Your first plan is the correct one - email all three - no phone calls, they are worth the paper they are printed on!

Received reply from CP Plus with a form they want filled along with proof of identity.

I don't want to be spending any more time form filling and uploading unless necessary.

They've been told, they've acknowledged, so nothing more to do I'm thinking?

Depends if you want a reply to your SAR. If you ignore this you won't get it.

But we DON'T advise getting a SAR anyway. Better to get a completely vague claim form which gives you a stronger defence.

I didn't do an SAR, it was just a simple letter telling them to update address and erase old one.

I liked how one of the questions on the form was "Were you the driver at the time of the incident?", never waste an opportunity do they? 😀

Heard nothing else yet. Are there any time limits on progressing the claim?

MCOL has recently updated with "Case stayed on xx/xx/2025", is this of any significance?

Yes it means it is frozen indefinitely because of the Claimants' inaction. They can apply to 'un-stay' it at any time though.

    While your case is quiet:

Please do the government's Public Consultation. We need every poster to complete this vital survey before the deadline next week.

We understand that you may need some pointers. It looks laborious, we get that. It doesn't matter; no knowledge is needed except re your own experiences so you can call out a scam industry and you'll protect millions of motorists and help change the law.

I've written some guidance to help focus new posters on the issues. I've covered almost every question, providing ideas if you agree with our stance on things like DRFs, which we say must be banned.

Ordinary people like you are falling victim to this scam over 18 million times per annum. Motorists need your voice added please.

    CLOSES ON FRIDAY 26th SEPTEMBER.
