Free pizza at work has helped to stretch the budget, but probably my waistline too. So I'm going to start Slimming World on Sunday, and joining MIL who is already on it and cooking lunch for us.
Total spend in Al*i and Mozza so far: £78.41/£170.
Keep reading books!

Shopping bought from Aldi and Sainsbury's this week amounted to £55.00. very annoyed as DH did Sainsbury's shop and forgot to take nectar card so annoyingly the nectar prices were not deducted. We will need to go again at the weekend for GF and DF stuff so hopefully they will be able to add the points then. I don't think that they will be able to deduct nectar prices though sadly. It has never happened to me before. 😒.craft stash 2023 =161, 2024 = 119 2025 = £25.96 spent, 128 made and 5 mended,

Officially here now. I've had no more spends since last time.
I might pop my head in W@itrose later as it's next to the drs (if only for my free coffee); as I have an appointment there first thing, and it's close by.GC Jan £101.91/£150 Feb £70.96/150 Mar £100.43/150 Apr £108.45 app/150 May £149.70/150 Jun £155.15/150 July ££110.46/£150 (includes food, toiletries and cleaning from 13th to 12th of each month. Nothing spent here since the SM on Sunday but milk(man) weekly DD is tomorrow, so another £7.50 will be added then. I don't need anything for the weekend (sounds like the response to the barber in the 1960s!). I must add paracetamol+ to the list for next time though...which might be March as I have plenty except the occasional fruit bowl and milk top up.Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)

I spent £19.50 today on fruit, veg, stuff for baking, cheese & toothpaste. I looked at the olive oil in Aldi as it was reduced but all the bottles had gone a bit cloudy at the bottom which I think happens when it gets frozen in transit and solidifies a bit so I gave it a miss.
I'm up to £138.29/£3008 -

back to the grocery challenge ..... we did our supermarket shop on Tuesday and collected our free bakery item which was a fairly disappointing doughnut but hey it was free so can't complain, also got a free vegetable for which we chose spinach and a free soft drink - apple & elderflower cordial. There still seems to be plenty in our freezer and cupboard so I'm hoping to have a nice surplus of budget left at the end of the month which will be used to top up our dentist/vet/optician savings pot.
£172.50 of our budget remaining8 -
