Woo hoo for the boxes being gone!

Take a picture of the empty space with the prosecco in it for prosperity, and every time you're feeling weighed down you can look at it and think 'I achieved that' (or 'at least it's not that job again' 😂)

Brilliant!
No overreaction - I would’ve had a tantrum over no evening meal. I live for my dinner 😂3 -
I did a not very mse thing and spent £28 on prosecco and a lovely tea. I don't care. I needed it, I earned it, I deserve it.

Nothing much to report today. I have remained in good spirits.
I have started washing my sofa covers, because I have room to put the airer up now and to put the dehumidifier on. Simple pleasures and all that.
I've survived another week at work, and yet again even further behind on the admin that comes with it.
Still no sign of the activation code I need to do my tax stuff, I'm really hoping it arrives tomorrow, the deadline is the 18th.
I posted a bag that I sold on vntd, I really need to list more stuff. It's all in a pile waiting, just some of it needs an iron or a brush first.
I've done my finances for the week and again got sad that the numbers had stayed the same so transferred the few odd pounds and pence into one account and paid an extra fiver off a credit card.
Funds are getting a little low as I've just bought my mother her mothers day present. I also need to buy and send my stepmother a birthday present. I am away again with work this week, for an event rather than my usual role, so I might need to spend a little bit of money but hopefully not too much. I have about £15 in vntd I can transfer to my bank if things get too tight. I'm also still waiting for my wages from the extra job I did in January and February.
I have plenty of food in the freezer but I also have my small mid month top up shop coming on Sunday. I'll need to fill the car with fuel again this week as I'll be doing another 6 to 8 hours driving on Wednesday, on top of the local journeys and the visits on Sunday.
I have been watching the bank of dad podcast, it was set up for the young 'uns but I quite like the way they explain things in simple terms. I've still got lots of audiobooks on the go, but they've been really useful with all the driving I've been doing.

I took the younger dog on an activity today. We did it a few times last year and I'd heard someone dropped out last minute to we stepped in. It did cost me £20 but it's good for her and she's not been having decent walks lately because the older dog has a shoulder injury. Paying for a dog walker for an hour would have cost me that, and it got me out in the sea air (brutal wind) too. She seemed to really enjoy it today so we'll try and do it a bit more regularly.
Visit to the mother done, then I got home and slept for an hour. I really needed that.
Sofa cover washing is about 80% done, I should finish tomorrow.
I had venison and pork Bolognese from the freezer, and I still really like it so I'll make more when I can get my hands on more venison mince. I really need to make an effort to eat things in the freezer again.
I've bought a cheap charger for my watch today, to see if that helped with the intermittent charging issue. It hasn't charged for 2 or 3 weeks now. I've been eeking the life out of this watch since last summer I think. This is the last attempt though. I need to get back to making an effort to get steps in.
Tonight I'll be waiting for my mid month grocery delivery and doing a couple of hours work.

The watch has charged so I might be in luck
The last bit of sofa cover is drying on the airer, you know where? Where the boxes used to be 😂 I've pushed my nice clean sofas back to their summer position and my living room looks huge. I've ordered a new rug from that awful cheap online overseas place. With the boggy garden and the animals I need something that I can bung in the washing machine once a week or so. The one I have now only cost £30 from there and it's lasted well. I've ordered a bigger and darker version. Light rugs show the mud and dark rugs show the dog hair. I can't win.
My credit score has gone up by a few points again so I'm comfortably in the fair category now and should easily be able to get a balance transfer credit card in June.
