I think seeds should.be allowed as they are useful and produce food (hopefully!)

You are making amazing progress! I’d be looking at that graph on an hourly/daily basis as needed

Bless you buying seeds to grow lettuce for the tortoise.
Hope the credit card OP tactic works 🤞https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6466032/an-in-between-phase/p1

@Dakota_Rose I've got a voucher for a tattoo.... nah, not even I'm that bad! it is a lovely graph though.
@PennysIntoPounds MSE innit! Cheaper to buy the seeds than buy the lettuce! He does eat a lot of weeds, which are obviously free, but it's nice for him to have a bit of variety. When I buy (or get from olio) a bag of mixed salad he prefers the red leaves and I prefer the green so it works out quite well.
My tax rebate came through today, so I've paid an extra £150 off the credit card already. More squares coloured in on my tracker. I'm only £9 off being able to colour in another square but I'm trying to wait til sunday to see if I have spare funds to pay that, as I have a wedding tomorrow and cinema Saturday. Both should be relatively cheap/almost free, but let's not get too carried away just in case.
I've put £150 in the ktichen tiles pot. Not sure when I'll have time to go get those.
The unwanted Christmas gift were collected (Olio) so that's a few more things decluttered.
I have however brought something back in to the house. I had given a friend a brand new electric blanket about 5 years ago. It turns out she never used it as she was scared of the electrics so I've had it back. It might have to go again if it means I struggle even more to get out of bed, but we'll give it a few weeks and see.
I'm thinking potato wedges with chicken thighs for tea. I'm not sure I can be bothered to make coleslaw to go with it as I'm not sure I'll be eating at home tomorrow or Saturday. Maybe just sweetcorn and peppers.

Lemon pepper chicken thighs with paprika wedges for tea. I ended up doing a quick small coleslaw grating straight onto the plate. I have now used up the first bag of potatoes!

Well! The wedding was lovely, small, simple, no fuss no drama.... and I somehow ended up walking the bride down the aisle! What an experience! Somehow I forgot how to walk though, it was not elegant!!
In other good news, there was a mysterious £10 in my bills account yesterday, it said debit card cashback. Was the trusty savings bank doing a promotion in december? I don't usually use that debit card as it's mainly for bills but my pots are there so I ended up using it quite a bit leading up to Christmas. It was still there this morning so I paid £9 odd off my credit card so it's a nice round number again.
The minimum payment is £55, my DD is set up to pay £115. I also made overpayments using the last £25 switch bonus from coop and £150 from my tax refund. So I've paid £300 off it so far this month. Pretty good going!
Although I was very tired and very hungry I resisted a takeaway. I used a greggs giftcard to buy a pasty in the services and then put a posh frozen pizza in the air fryer.Debts 04/01/25 02/01/26

Great for resisting the pizza and finding an alternative.

It's been quite a spendy evening, first with the cinema - £7.50 for parking!!! I also stupidly bought a drink and popcorn. I know better, but I was obviously feeling rich. Friend bought the tickets, I drove us.
I've had a few low cost or free things lately so it evens out really and I don't think I have any other socialising planned for the rest of the month.
The motorway was closed coming him so I had to follow a diversion. Stanley Tucci was talking about eggs, so I fancied dipped egg n soldiers one day soon. I realised I didn't have any egg cups so I popped into a supermarket on my detour and bought some. I also picked up bread because I was out, and frozen sweetcorn for the chickens. Nothing much was reduced, but I did pick up 2 celeriac and a pack of 6 granny smiths.
When I got home I bought a deep fitted sheet from Marks online, and a black sweatshirt that I've been wanting for a couple of months.
It's all come out of my daily allowance, so all accounted for (I'd only used 1 day's worth so far this month).
I'll behave myself now, I've had a little splurge.

You deserve a splurge 🙃 it can't all be debt busting. I've just bought a new coat for me and the little one, means when he's in his carrier he's all cosy under my coat, was reduced from £112 to £37.5
