FINALLY A REPLY! Only took them 14 weeks !

They said I didn't submit the N244 application and the fee is now £314 (£10 more than I paid).

The N244 Application form is clearly attached to my original email along with all my other documents supporting my case. I shouldn't have to pay the increased fee now as the increase was made after my application was made... surely?!

3 months and this is the reply I get, can they not read the names of the attachments I sent  :|

I replied with another copy of the N244 application form. See you in 14 weeks for my next reply...

    It was £303 from 1st May 2024 to 31st March 2025.

    Hello all,

Just thought I'd write a little update. I paid the extra £10 to "top up" my £303 payment I initially made on my application, and re-sent my application and all relevant attachments etc. This was back in September 2025.

Should I be worried that I've not heard anything back whatsoever? Not a single correspondence on email or letter received.

Unsure what to do really, feel like I'm just fighting an uphill battle that is impossible. I already have the CCJ on my credit file now and has been there over a year. CNBC may as well be none existent. Just £313 down, lots of wasted hours preparing the supporting documents, and CCJ on my record. Great.

    Thanks,

    c

  • why dont u just pay. Its only £300. When you read this letter more closely you can see there was no court decision yet made, no name of the court was mentioned. If there is a CCJ , i dont think it can go on your ie experian, credit history file , as that one they are only designed to hold record on consumer credit & not parking fees.

The above advice is completely wrong.

This OP has a CCJ, as do a couple of hundred thousand people every year, as a result of the aggressive greed of the rogue parking industry.

If the OP had just paid, it would cement that CCJ on their record for SIX YEARS.
