Afternoon all
A busy day yesterday so I didn't get time to post. My landlady has agreed to the extension to the 24th April for the tenancy which is a relief. A lot could change but it's nice that everyone is making the right noises at least. I also had a call from the solicitors yesterday. Nothing really to update me on, but considering everyone told me that I would be constantly having to chase, I've been really pleasantly surprised with mine so far they seem proactive and communicative.
OH had his CT scan of his kidneys yesterday and will see the nephrologist on the 10th so they can discuss which one they want to take out etc. A few spends as we decided after that to go to a local garden for a spot of lunch and a mooch round. When I got home I (think) I have fixed Bertie our robot hoover as I took him apart and gave him a good clean.
I'm def fighting off a cold. The weather is gorgeous here today but can't muster the energy to do much. The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak, so I'm pottering around the house in between reading and cups of coffee. I did walk up to the allotment but everything was frosty and I felt too tired so I came back.
Today's other small things:Sent OH out with a pack of snacks and a bottle of water to the wedding show he's going to (working)
Cleaned bathroom using reusable cloths and homemade vinegar spray
Heating on 18'c max
Reconcile start of month budget sheet
Dinner from food in fridge already prepped and ys salmon from freezer
Have a lovely day in the sun if it's sunny where you are!

Hi all
A bit of a spendy day for me today. Mum got me an M&S voucher for Christmas and I had to put something to it to get the shoes I wanted, but I thought hard about it and decided it was the right thing to do. She also said that if I saw something I wanted for my birthday to get that too, so I did. I took DS1 along with me and bought him lunch (which wasn't great). We then came straight home without visiting any other shops. It was nice to be with DS but I won't be going shopping again any time soon (too tempting).
The good news is that we paid £1800 off the cards in January so that's a good start to the year. We need to do a couple of balance transfers because two of our 0% deals have come to an end.
Oh and I hung the washing out this afternoon for a bit. It's now over the airer to finish off.5 -

Evening allTotally lazy day today. We got up early to go to a market to try and buy a few items for my sales unit. Bought a few things, but nothing exciting enough to warrant going out at that timeStopped to get fuel on the way back, and picked up a few bits in the shop attached to the garage. I got YS meatballs, sausages and onions. Also got a loaf of bread as we were nearly out. The meatballs and sausages are now in the freezer.Came home, walked the dog... and then nothing much. Felt like gardening but it is really too early. And cold!Read my book, then cooked dinner. Did a roast in the air fryer, hadn't tried this before. All was fine.Must be more proactive tomorrow!3
