Britannia Parking via DCB Legal, court claim 2025

I just need to check that this is the appropriate response to give to the claim form issued by DCBL Legal. I've read quite a bit of the forum and am confused as whether I should be adding CEL v Chan and CPMS v Akande for paragraph 3.Thank you again0

Don't know because you haven't shown us the POC.Wobbly_Bus said:I just need to check that this is the appropriate response to give to the claim form issued by DCBL Legal. Your para 2 is too short (use the Template).I will then use the template for points 1,8-10 for the rest. I will then submit this via MCOL.Eh? Surely you'll actually add the Template's para 1 and then 4-10, all renumbered? You aren't meant to lose any paragraphs when you write extra ones!
And there's no such thing as a 'registered disabled vehicle' (or person, for that matter). There is no register. Do you mean it's a Motability vehicle?

So Britannia Parking via DCB Legal, the alleged breach is pleaded, non payment, so no, you dont add Chan and Akande
Its probably a Motability vehicle, but that fact is irrelevant, the Equality Act 2010 probably applies due to it being on private property for a start, the blue badge is an indicator of an occupant of the vehicle having a disability , not the VRM details, not the vehicle either. The reasonable adjustment applies to the person
But neither entitle anyone to free parking, IF a valid payment is required, so adapt your paragraphs accordingly3 -
But that's not a current claim form. That's not dated August 2025.Wobbly_Bus said:This was the claim form that I received.
I can tell from the POC phraseology and the fact the signatory's name is on page one.
You've inadvertently confused us by telling us this week that you are working on a 'defence' but that claim form tells us you aren't.

Page 1 states NPC as the claimant, National Parking Control Group, when you started it earlier this year, not Britannia Parking, 2 different companies, totally different cases , why ?
This thread is only about one of them, namely
National Parking Control Group and DCBL and DCB LEGAL3 -
I am really sorry I've lost the original claim form. I remember it was for not making valid payment and it was very similar to the one I posted above (that isnt mine it's one I found on the internet). It was from DCB Legal but I've no idea who the claimant was.I submitted my AoS on either the 13th of last month, and I know the deadline is coming up rapidly. Is there anything I can do I am incredibly worried.Should I ring the court tomorrow and ask them to send me out another copy of the claim form?I'm sorry0

Do you have the claim reference number ? The Claimant is probably NPC via DCB Legal
Do not mislead us again, thank you ! Correct facts only please
If yes, email your signed and dated defence to the claimresponses email address shown in the first post in the defence template thread in announcements
Add the claim reference number
The CNBC wont send you another copy, but dcb legal might if you email them for a copy2 -
Please can you take down that picture?
It isn't like your claim form.Should I ring the court tomorrow and ask them to send me out another copy of the claim form? No, they can't provide a full copy.
If you have completely lost your Claim Form you can't do the defence online and you will have to email it instead,PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

You've inadvertently confused us by telling us this week that you are working on a 'defence' but you aren't. You're not at defence stage so bin that draft.
You are meant to be writing a Witness Statement. This stage is fully covered in the NEWBIES thread post 2. Including recommended exhibitsMassive apologies again.I've managed to sign into my MCOL page and found that the claim was issued against me 31/07 and I submitted my AoS on 13/08.I'm so confused but I thought I had 28 days to file a defense.Should I be instead filing a Witness Statement?0 -
