  • I have made the new claim and added the message in my journal .

I have also asked for "reasonable adjustments " to be considered under the equality act 2010.

Good, that should now get better results for you and keep the UC open until a WCA can be carried out
You do still have to keep an eye on your journal and do what they ask you to do- (if you don't do that then it's where the sanctions can come from).

I have now had a health assessment by phone, but now my sick note hasn't been renewed, there are no appointments available within 4 weeks and if I phone them early in the morning I am number 30 in a queue, that's not possible to hold on a PAYG phone. I have contacted them online and explained but the reply was irrelevant to what I asked ,  I am expecting I won't get the sick note and my claim will be ended again.

Can you do online request with your doctor surgery - they reply usually the same day and offer appointments same day if they need to see you. Can only speak for my surgery but go on your surgery website and look for online services. Good luck

Just to add to this, you'd have to check in the morning/early afternoon if they're anything like my surgery (mine closes online services beyond purely routine admin things like prescriptions etc. outside of working hours).

We don't have online booking. It is join the scrum at 8.30am when lines open.

The telephone system does offer to maintain your place in the queue and call you back when you reach the front.

By that time all appointments are usually gone.

Sick notes csn be requested online and if the GP needs to query anything they will call you.

Can you not phone up later in the day, or simply call in & ask for another sick note?
That's all we did when required. Doctors was more than happy to do this as meant it freed up a appointment for someone else. Also asked if can be for 3 or 6 months. Which again they were happy to od.

Similar waits to get through for me but we can also turn up at the health centre at 8am to put a request in for a doctor appointment or phone call etc

It a joke how much it varies. My previous Doctors it's a 30 minute form filling to get an appointment maybe in 3 weeks.
My new one, phoned up Weds (it's closed on Thu)  ask for an appointment they apologised had said it now won't be till Monday, I did ask what Monday, to be told the coming Monday, certainly not what I was use too.
