Blackhorse confirmation of DC, complaint raised, generic DC response received

Way back last March/April I wrote to Blackhorse using template provided on here. Within a few months (think it was July time), they responded confirming that my motor agreement did indeed have a discretionary commission attached to it.
Off the back of this confirmation, I raised a formal complaint regarding it... but the responses I'm getting from black horse (I've had about 8 now over the past 6 months), just say they are still looking into my agreement to see if a DC was included.
I know one was, you confirmed this, so why are they mailing me with these generic responses? I'm concerned my complaint hasn't been formally raised, so when the decision is made, I will miss out.
Anyone else in this situation?

Anyone else in this situation?Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

The Government has also just intervened in respect of commission in general (not DCA) and that is expected to close down many complaints before they even apply.
its also worth nothing that an agreement having DCA is not necessarily a bad thing. DCA could be positive, negative or neutral. Negative DCA is the bad one (where the interest rate was increased) but positive DCA means they reduced the interest rate and neutral means the dealer could use DCA but didn't in your case. Initially, they can see that the dealer had it available, so that tells them the first stage but they have to wait for the FCA ruling and how it wants to deal with the different types (if at all).Anyone else in this situation?Everyone. Until the FCA publish their report and reopen the complaints process, you are on hold.

I provided all my details to Blackhorse last July and in August 2024 received notification from the Company (including the agreement ref number) that I had a genuine claim for unauthorised DCA!
To date, I have heard nothing further from them and assumed the Company were awaiting FCA Ruling before refunding me!!
I am concerned that my claim is not being investigated or that Blackhorse have any intentions of refunding me! I've tried contacting them recently and received no reply.
If my claim is to be paid back to me, when can I expect this to happen?0 -

Your complaint is not being investigated. If my claim is to be paid back to me, when can I expect this to happen? Some time over the next 1-5 years is likely seeing as a section 404 redress scheme is likely and based on how long those normally take.
