It's not, because I've not received any bills for the entirety of 2024. So the bill I have just received doesn't show the different tariffs I have been on throughout the year. According to Octopus I have been on different tariffs (3 or 4, I can't remember what he said)
    That sounds odd.
Normally when there's a tariff change, you'd get billed up to the date of the change on the old tariff and after that date on the new one. Even where thee aren't any actual meter readings, the supplier will estimate a reading for the date of the changeover.
If you don't have this shown on your bill, it's unusual.
What's the name of your tariff? Is it Flexible Octopus, or something else?

It's flexible tariff and no we received no note of the tariff changes either
Ok, I'd expect there to be a page looking a bit like the one in this post:
... showing the change of tariff and the estimated reading on that date.

    Is your email correct?

This is part of the email from 10 Sept 2024

    • Ofgem (the energy regulator) has announced the energy price cap will rise around 10% for a typical home from October 1 to December 31, due to the global cost of energy.
    • Once again, Octopus prices are lower. You will continue to receive the cheapest standard standing charges of any large supplier, and other ways to save (details below).
    • We’re not adjusting your payments right now. We continually check your balance and payments, and suggest changes if it looks like you’re paying too much or too little.
    • Our 15 month fixed tariff is cheaper than the October prices. Compare monthly costs online with just a few taps.
    • We have other tariffs which could save you money — for example: Tracker simply follows the wholesale price every day
    • Good to know: this email outlines changes to your Flexible Octopus prices only. We’ll send another with your smart tariff changes within the next week or so.
    • Please let me know if this email is helpful. I’ve prepared a short survey and would appreciate your thoughts — we’ll randomly choose 8 respondents to win a £512 credit to their Octopus account.
    • Octopus remain the only large supplier to have never charged the full Ofgem price cap.

Did you sign up with Octopus or were you taken over by them (SoLR’d) when your previous supplier went bust?

Unfortunately I am too new on the forum to post images - I have found my estimated usage though, which I couldn't see before. The estimated annual usage (electricity only) is 4700.7 kWh for a two bed flat where we've never turned the heating on. As far as I'm aware we've not done anything that would be using excessive amount of electricity

Assuming you don't have gas, that's only slightly above Medium use (3900kWh) and well below High (6700kWh).

Have you checked on the app under bills/payments

Apologies I missed your message, yes I've looked on the app and can see only 4 bills. 3 I received in 2023 quarterly starting from March when I moved in. I then received my most recent bill covering 29 Dec 2023 - 13 Jan 2025.

My email is correct as far as I'm aware because I get an email saying I've paid whenever I pay my monthly amount, but I've never received that email (just check my emails and can't see it)
(Had to remove the links from your previous message so I respond as I'm still new)

the bill for dec23 to jan25 should have a breakdown of the jan/apr/July/oct charges on it , and does it have any actual meter readings
and should detail how much you paid by dd

Interesting, I've read on Ofgem that the average is much less. 6700kWh is for a large house with 4-5 bedrooms. This is a 2 bed flat and like I said, we've never turned the heating on at all since we moved in. As it stands, they've estimated we use slightly more energy than a 4+ bedroom house
