so I went to post office and posted a few Vinted parcels then popped to egg shed, bought a large tray eggs for my egg whites.

Bit of a fail on that front as I boiled about 10 of them to have over week but after boiling them the shells all stuck and half egg white came away. Not sure why that is and is there any reason for that??

Also I did last couch to 5k of week one but then proceeded to eat 1/4 huge bar of chocolate which I got for valentine’s 😢😢

So that undid any good the run did 🙄

I did manage to paint dressing table twice again today and it’s looking a bit whiter, swear I’d need 10 more layers , the brown would probably still be showing.

Put more clothes on Vinted and I’ll give them a few weeks before putting them in charity shop.

I’m planning to walk across to post office today as the sun is at last showing itself so ideal weather, will take walking boots in car as it will be muddy across fields, just got 1 Vinted parcel to post, doesn’t seem really worth it but it will force me to get out and exercise, feeling lazy today.

I’m getting a bit fed up waiting to hear from hospital and I emailed bank job and she said she wouldn’t request references til tomorrow so that’s annoying.

It will be a £0 spend day today at least that’s something.

Hopefully tomorrow I’ll get on with something productive, feeling a bit down today.

Heard from old work colleague and it sounds awful at my old work place so I should feel happy but I just feel unproductive, I don’t know how people don’t work, no wonder there’s so much depression amongst unemployed people!

Should be excited about upcoming trip to see daughter in 23 days but I’m just worried I won’t have heard anything and it will bother me while I’m away!

    Room is coming together 😊👏

With HB eggs, you need to get them into cold running water and leave them to cool as soon as you finish cooking them. The thermal shock of the temperature drop puts the white away from the shell / vice versa.

sorry, didn’t mean it to come across like I don’t get that.

I’ve worked in health and mental health for 20 yrs so totally understand people’s reasons for not working. I don't think many choose the option to not work and it’s getting harder to get a job as well. I just struggle with it and feel I have to achieve something each day, probably how I was bought up.

    It’s not easy for sure!

I went back into Vinted and added a bit more information to one of the listed items, I was thinking how I could sell it and it worked, sold it , I’ve added a bit more to some items and looked at postage , if I could get away with smaller postage prices so we will see, 2 items went today and another 2 going tomorrow. Need to keep this momentum going

window cleaner messaged and I told him we are good this month, £25 saved, not really necessary every month especially as it’s just raining all the time.

Couch to 5k week 2 to start today, will be going out in about an hour as I’ve just had breakfast.

Sorted a few meetings with friends next week as this week has felt a bit lonely 😞

Think I’ll post Vinted stuff tomorrow as I am out tomorrow anyway in car and don’t really want to take a special trip for 2 cheap items.

still waiting for Finance approval for job, wondering if it’s an end yr financial thing or just usual workforce delays. It’s making me nervous 😬 I would just like a confirmation of when I’m starting, don’t think it’s a lot to ask 🙄

Anyway I now have visual disturbance going on !! Will take a painkiller and hope migraine isn’t coming, stressed about this job 😬
