    Woo and NSD - get me :grin:

    I've taken on everyone's comments and drove a shorter, yet not too windy route today (I have the option of going one route via A road, the other via ferry!). So I saved around 10 miles today :grin:

    Achievements today:
    * Took lunch into town
    * Took slower, less mileage route
    * Got accepted through creditcard through quidco £40 cashback
    * Asked for cashback total on other CC to be credited, £30 cashback

    What I will do this evening:
    * Start a filing system for a new job so I have records in one place
    * Tick another work to do off my list
    * Bed by midnight! :cool:

    The 'free' money I earned today will go towards the fine I'm going to get for late submission of tax forms! :eek:

    Right, off to cook a healthy lentil soup tea...via OS boards of course :D . My first lentil soup in my flat - yipee!

    * C work - emails, collate records files, invoice (yey) DONE
    * LH5 work - emails, files, invoices (yey)
    * LH6 work - emails, files, invoices (yey)
    * BP work - create report, final email, chase invoice (boo) DONE
    * ICT work - read report revisions
    * SX - create overview document

    God I feel knackered just looking at that list....but I guess if I stay at home today it'll be a NSD :grin:.

    Oh dear...last post in Jan and then it was all meltdown!!! Update on sorting out my flat:

    March 07 - moved in
    May 08 - started unpacking!!!

    I had meant to unpack and carboot for AGES and never got around to it. Then a friend said she was a bit short of dosh, now she is brilliant at chucking stuff out and sorting through things. So we did a deal, she helps me unpack, takes anything I want and carboots and keeps the money. I'm slightly wracked with guilt that I'm not orgaised enough to do it myself...but at least I've started unpacking

    :)

    Why do I feel the need to confess?! :rotfl:

    Keep taking it one step at a time hun. Little steps add up. Hugs.
    :D Make a list of important things to do today. At the top, put 'eat chocolate'. Now, you'll get at least one thing done today. :D

    Thanks CarolynH :o

    Being back on here has meant today hasn't been that er productive! In my head I'm still guilty about 'giving away' my stuff when so many people make the effort to sell theirs...but it is helping out a friend and me at the same time!

    Achievements today:

    * NSD :T (though I REALLY wanted to buy nibbles from local shop)
    * store cuboard dinner
    * made lunch for tomorrow
    * Er...back on MSE bandwagon...oh and put money would have spent in my mortgage-chicken :D

    Back in da smoke, long train ride this morning. But was VERY good (for me) and resisted cuppa tea on the 4 hour train ride. Then had my lunch at work so almost a nsd....but couldn't resist my 'first day back to smoke' ritual of a cappucino. I know, I know, but it's once a week! I guess I probably need to visit the demotivator...

    Was at work till 2030 :( Just got home, washing on....beans and pasta for tea (bargain) and need to do ironing then bed.

    Pooped, never sleep well the night before I come to the smoke, must be the worry of catching the train!

    Oooh I'm pooped! Long day at work today (main job) then caught up on a few other jobs in the eve. Met a friend for lunch and had evening meal on the go.... but managed to chose cheapest options. So with lunch and dinner I spent £5.99 today.

    Tonight I viewed a new room in the smoke. Closer to where I work, so only half an hour travel..:) but I'm dreading telling my flat mate where I live at the moment. She is lovely, flat is lovely, room is lovely.... but the hour commute to work is knackering me out. I just hope she's not too upset, I'm going to give her a months notice.

    Blimey, quarter to midnight and time for bed! Have breakfast and evening meal sorted for tomorrow, meeting friend for lunch at work. Will go for cheaper option again *phew*.

    Home from the smoke and enjoying the great tunes from Mr Murray on Radio 1 :grin:

    Managed to eat brekkies at home (good for me), but bought lunch. Had half my tea for the train, so had to buy a few things. But all in all I only spent about £8.00 today which I recon is quite good.

    Unpacking is going well, lots on this weekend including picking up my new car - yippee!

    Glad I'm doing this diary again, reminds me to keep on MSE track :T
