Chase Bank current account debit card number

If your card is in the Apple wallet, when you open the card in the wallet, click on the 3 dots in a circle top right and you'll see an option which shows the last 4 digits of the physical and virtual card. Will this help?

In Google Wallet the (last four) card numbers shown are the virtual card number as seen in the Chase app and yet another virtual card number for use with contactless payments.

Does not show the physical card number, is the Apple Wallet different?

In the Apple wallet the two (4 digit) numbers shown are described as Physical card and Apple pay

I don't have an apple wallet. But I can see the card number within the Chase app. My query was about the discrepancy with what is printed on a receipt and how retail assistants then question whether it's the same card.
