I’ve just come back from dd2’s college. Sadly I did have to break the no spend rule as I needed to pay £43.50 for her paper remark. In this case I deemed it a necessity as it could make the difference between her getting to keep her hard won course place and not. I’m just not willing to risk it.

Random dinner of the evening is going to be a full bag of ready prepared broccoli and cauliflower plus a full bag of ready prepared brussel sprouts all thanks to Olio, a chicken breast from my frozen bag of precooked chicken and a bit of Chinese curry sauce to give it a bit of added flavour. I may or may not follow it with another slice of apple pie. 😬

At least it’s not a takeaway right? 😁
