The ivy is far from done - perhaps she bases of some of the old leaves will put out new shoots. I love rescuing plants, they are so rewarding when they start growing again. I like your shelf of ducks, by the way! I have one of that style which gets a winter scarf in local football team colours since DDiL said it looked cold!
