@EatingBeans I saw this on TN & thought of you - not sure that it’s nothing you may already know but thought I’d share:

@EatingBeans have you had a pelvic ultrasound? I have severe stomach pain that has led to so many tests, endoscopy, gastroscopy, pelvic ultrasound, and and and …. the suggestion from gynae is that it's varices (think varicose veins but in the stomach). However, there has been no suggested remedy, and from my own research it could be serious if it bled.

What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?

These extra costs amount, sadly, to what I'd call a disability tax - and are a very good reason for you to get PIP. However, ordering the sandwiches is a stroke of genius, and if you wanted, you could add the extras to make the equivalent of a meal deal.

I'm sure you'll draw the GP's attention to the history in case there's a hidden bleed - don't rely on them putting two and two together. I hope the conversation is helpful.

I’ve had an abdominal ultrasound but not a pelvic one. Varicose veins in the stomach sounds very painful bless you. (((Sending hugs)))

I don’t think I have the same thing as the pain is in the wrong place. Due to my hiatal hernia (which sometimes means my stomach enters my chest cavity), I get occasional bouts of really bad gastritis so I am all too familiar with stomach pain. This new pain is too far to the right and more like gall bladder/liver/start of intestine type area. Honestly, I am just glad to finally have something to point to on a test result so they can all stop looking at me like I am making it up! The way they dismiss you when everything comes back ‘normal’ is just awful, as if you must be just lying if the test they decided to run didn’t find anything, ignoring the fact that it might just be something else!
