Ah bless you, thank you. Sadly, despite the big pay out I wont be even close to debt free. Until I can secure a job every month will eat away at that money but at least to start with a big lump sum will go off debt so should reduce my interest payments and hopefully give me a chance to start tackling the debt. Without the payout I was looking at defaulting on everything or borrowing more from my brother and adding to the debt spiral so this is still a massive win for me.
Time to do some sums and work out where I really stand now. πEnd ofSep-25Oct-25Brother 7,800.00 7,650.00 Overdraft owed 0.00 0.00 MBNA CC 11,481.53 11,504.06 Barclaycard CC 9,662.17 9,558.10 Fluid CC 1,046.44 1,036.29 NatWest CC 11,705.36 11,693.03 Aqua 1,127.94 1,107.94

Excellent news! Such a huge step forward. Well done for holding on, it must have been so stressful but you made it happen.
How is the van progressing, or is it too hot to work on it?
