Almost as annoying as 'Reach out' is the tendency for anonymous teams or people you don't know personally to start with 'I hope this email finds you well'.  At best it sounds a bit insincere, trying to score points by rustling up some fake bonhomie, and for anyone that's not well it's just an unnecessary reminder of their misfortune.
It's obviously different for people you do know, especially if they're aware you've been unwell or have a long term condition, but as a default salutation it grates my gears.

Balance finally dropped down today. Expect bill to show up later today, as not in user area.

Have they charged your account, despite not producing a bill?
I was due a bill on or around the 27th of December. They charged my account for electricity and gas but didn't produce a bill. I queried this yesterday and got a reply today saying I'd get my bill at the end of January.
OK, Octopus billing seem to be having a bit of a moment :D
    In summary:
    • Bill due/expected 27th Dec. Account debited but no bill; didn't arrive by email or appear on account.
    • Emailed hello@ on 6th Jan asking after my bill.
    • Reply from CSRep1 on 7th Jan saying I'd be billed for this period on 27th Jan.
    • I then replied to hello@ the same day, asking for confirmation that the bill on the 27th would include two months worth of data (it wasn't really clear from the previous email).
    • Reply received today from CSRep2, confirming that I'd be billed on the 27th of Jan for the entire two-month period.
    • Then, eight minutes later, I get another email from Octopus. The ususl monthly "FYI Your Energy Statement" email with the missing bill attached.
So I don't know quite what Octopus have been doing but I have now received my December-dated bill.

Electricity usage is OK, nothing on gas. Doesn't show any usage on the app, no charges since December 1st. If they don't generate any statements or charges, I'll just reduce my DD to cover the electricity, and put the money for gas in an interest bearing account. :)

TL,DR but are you all on Tracker for gas?  I phoned up on 2nd January after not receiving the December bill (usually issued around the 26th), but seeing charges against my account.  The CA tried to issue the bill but wasn't able to release it.  She said she would look into it.  I then received an email with "we are currently waiting for some data so we can issue bills for our customers on the Tracker tariff for gas. You should receive your bill in the next few days".  I got my bill yesterday.

That would make some sense. Wonder why neither of my CS reps could tell me that?

My December charges, for both fuels, were added to my account on the 2nd, but the actual bill didn't arrive until the 7th, with apportioned gas usage, despite no missing data...

I've had my bill for December with gas and electric export, but they've entirely missed off my electric charges.

Electric usage is also currently missing from my dashboard.

Was on Tracker for both at the time.
