No bill here - usually get it on 2nd of the month. But, my meter has stopped sending data to the DCC from 30/12 - Octopus are looking into it. HAN/WAN lights are flashing ok, and IHD/Octopus App (via mini) are getting readings, but n3rgt.com, Hugo, Loop etc are blank.
Done a fair bit of day-time cheap rate car charging during the period, so hope they can recover the data.0 -
Apparently they use AI to initially answer emails. I got a rapid response to mine saying...
Thank you for reaching out.
I apologise for the delay in your gas statement. Sometimes, there can be delays in validating gas consumption, which may affect the timing of your gas bill.
So glad I reached out.

It seems to be a bit of a mixed bag when it comes to the bill generation times. I've personally not had problems this month, I submitted a reading for gas and electric on the 1st and a bill arrived several hours later.
However, in the past I have had times where I have had to follow up with CS via email as it appears to have got "stuck" somewhere, or the bill has been generated several days later. It seems the system has variable performance under load. Sure, I definitely give them credit that they're somewhat better than the other providers in the marketplace, however, as they have grown the performance has become occasionally a bit ropier. Software growing pains perhaps?0 -
I hadn't received my bill, due on the 4th, but my statement was issued for that date showing a new balance. I contacted them on X (Twitter). The response was that they were "waiting for the Tracker daily rate from the National Grid for a few day end of December". That seems strange as I have a smart meter and I could see the daily rates on various platforms. They issued an amended statement up to 25th Dec and a bill to match. My next bill will run from 26th Dec to 4th Feb
