vodafone/currys/EE - nightmare

hi everyone. before Christmas I visited Currys and was quoted a special price to purchase vodafone through them, gave them my details and it appeared ok. I received confirmation details and the problems started. I was purchasing vodafone for another address and it was declined as the account had to be in the properties address not my main home and my new bank account was very new. I then received 10 hard searches on my credit score account and tried to contact vodafone direct as you cannot call a particular Currys store. As Currys hadn't set up my security questions correctly Vodafone wouldn't speak to me - calling Egypt! I travelled 36 miles into store and they wouldn't speak to me - any complaints I had to contact Currys head office. I then contacted Currys Head office and they informed me they would investigate and come back to me - still waiting . I tried many times to contact Vodafone and eventually a gentleman assisted me and found two live accounts but they refused to help me any further. - they had my bank details and more! Stressed! yes
My credit score had dropped like a stone.
I contacted Equifax who fought my case and eventually they were removed, but it took a while.
But in the meantime, our own personal broadband account with EE was also a nightmare. We found our 10 year+ "legacy" account hadn't been talking to their system for possibly years, we have major broadband issues in our area, problems with the mast, signal issues and more and I haven't been able to access my account for bills etc for over 5 months and in desperation agreed to move both mobile and broadband over to the supposedly super duper fast network on a completely new system, (we still couldn't get fibre broadband to our house) and because of this change they also applied a hard search on my credit score account , so in a matter of days I had a total of 11 hard searches on my credit account even though I had an account with EE for 10 years and paid by direct debit.
They informed me the earliest date to change over was the 31st December - yet they had already changed over my mobile account early. I requested repeatedly to send the router early, the tv was losing connection constantly, the mobiles weren't receiving a signal and more but they'd refused.
The whole area is affected and each month we had to ring up to claim compensation and it all depended who you spoke to . EE signed up to automatic compensation according to OFFcom. They promised compensation but didn't apply to my account so when I rang up to claim the next month they wouldn't pay two months in one month. I receive days of emails in one go and many I await don't arrive, so as I still cannot access my accounts for invoices and more I requested they send me the five months in hard copies and was told I would have to pay £2.50 for each statement.
I did eventually receive the broadband invoices by email but still await my mobile bills - I am nearly 70 years old and really wish I could move to an island and not rely on anything or anybody but just realised I already do !
