Starbucks Stansted - Parking Fine

I parked at Starbucks Stansted, went into Starbucks, got my coffee and returned to my car and exited the car park. Now I have a £100 fine from MET Parking. Does anyone know how long I can park there for free (I thought it was 1 hour) or if it is worth contesting? All assistance gratefully received, thank you!

Same advice as this exact same one:

Did you miss reading it?
Seen the Joe Lycett video yet?
Have you read the NEWBIES FAQS thread yet please?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Having viewed the video, take Joe's lead, go into one outlet with a hat and coat, and a second hat and coat in a bag. Change coat and hat, go to second outlet make your purchase, return to first outlet, change back and make your second purchase, return to car!1

Hi, my issue is the same as hollyhex. I parked at the Starbucks carpark at Stansted Southgate Park and went into Starbucks (not Macdonalds, which would have been walking out of the carpark; which is what Joe's video is about). I have received a proposed fine, or invoice from MET parking, but cannot understand why...
I was in a hire car, so have received the notification from that company, and am waiting for the letter to come to me in my name from MET parking.
I will appeal it, but just wanted to point out that it isn't for using the two premises, so cannot see why I even have the notice!0 -
Easy win then if lease car1

Out of interest, this letter shows that you got the PCN for not inputting your numberplate:

But you don't say that on appeal, because you will appeal the NTH as lessee/hirer and not talk about the story of what you did.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

both of the posts above are not relevant, advice already given on how to win this1

We already knew the lease firm had given your details as hirer. They didn't (couldn't) name the driver. Big difference.
Nothing about the advice has changed.
Easy win!

As Above.
"Thanks, unfortunately the lease company have given them my details."
They only gave your details as lessee/hirer/day to day keeper - they do not know who the driver is.1
