Well done. Will be avidly watching those amounts go down in the run up for December.

Got to ask which hot drink did you have at Greggs this time? I quite like their latte but I like milky hot drinks, many would find it too weak.

Re Xmas present shopping. Tip for you, look this weekend for ideas because its black friday weekend and deals and discounts are currently on. They will be on all weekend and probably on Monday too. Get your thinking cap on. Look online if you dont fancy in person shopping, ask who you buy for for ideas if youre stuck. No point spending your birthday on Tuesday stressing when the prices of items have gone up, when you could buy before for cheaper and enjoy your birthday not thinking about it.

To give an example I did yesterday. Looking for a present for my adult son, I went on a website (shaving related manufacturer) and was going to order something,  made sure I met requirements for free delivery before I could check out my husband mentioned a bumper pack of blades he wanted (that I initially said 'how much??' too!) Once convinced this was a good buy (by being shown prices elsewhere that cost more for less blades) they went into my basket. That left me £4 short of qualifying for a free gift, back to the website and saw a toiletry item on buy one get one free, put that in and a really nice razor set for free has become part of my Dad's Xmas present.

    Thanks.

I had a hot chocolate again, i might try a cappuccino next time. I found hot chocolate went cold quite quickly, i dont know if all the drinks will be the same or not, im sure i will find out.

Im sure i will find some gifts eventually. i dont have to get much but it always stresses me and i end up leaving it late which stresses me even more, i might ask my sister to come shopping with me and help me out and get it all out the way and over and done with. Thanks for the tips, im glad you found a nice bargain with your online shop 😊 x

I had a thing i used to not want to do.  They'd ring to make an appointment and I'd have an excuse, ring me later, another few weeks go by, same thing, another few weeks another phone call.  I thought I was so clever putting it off.

Eventually one year i finally realised all I was doing was ensuring I thought about it for months instead of just booking first appointment and the whole thing would be over in a few days and I wouldn't have to think about it for a year!

If you know you get more stressed as time goes on, then why leave it?  Its not going to get cancelled :D .  Get it done tomorrow.  No excuses, no waiting, just do it tomorrow then you have all December to relax.  Especially since you don't have that much to do.  Next year, get it done in November, next year October then keep that up each year, stress relief at a stroke.

I have actually been arranging with my sister to go to town tomorrow with her and hopefully she can help me with everything i need to buy. So hopefully it will be mostly done and out the way tomorrow, all being well 🤞🏼

I have got better than i was. I sometimes used to leave it until the same week as christmas day as even the thought of it made me soo stressed, but then because i left it later and later that ended up adding to the stres even more as the actual day crept closer and closer. I have even found myself on occasions wandering around the shops on Christmas Eve before now stressed out of my mind 😂  But nowadays i have less people to buy for and i do my shopping a lot earlier than i used to, to get it done and out of the way before it stresses me out too much lol.

Oh and i have just ordered some gifts online, but i will include these in tomorrows finances as its too late tonight as i have already done my post for today.

fabulous,  I knew you wouldn't need my little pep talk and you'd be all over it.  Sounds like it's just another area of your life you are recognising your own preferred way of doing, sorting it and getting it under control.

    Brilliant

Glad you asked your sister to help you. I reckon by tonight you'll have done all or most of it. I agree its easier if you have a smaller list. I used to buy for around 20. Now its a more manageable 8 (and that includes myself).

Btw - your signature still shows end of October's figures.
