Must admit I'm watching in fascination as I see that figure creep towards starting with a 1.

I did my food shop today after work. It came in more than usual at £49.78 but i am going try to make this last until hopefully Tues 30th Sept which would then take me into my next accounting month for my next shop. But if i cant make it last that long (13 ish days) then i will try and make it last as long as possible and maybe just have a small top up shop before that day.

Groceries have gone up in price recently (again!) and I found that combined with being unable to find a lot of smaller sized packs. So if your shopping bill is suddenly costing more then be assured its not you, its them.

Yeh the fifth consecutive month that food prices have increased now .... when will it end??  :s  I did buy a couple of extra treats while shopping as i did the worst thing to do when food shopping and that is shopping when im really hungry  :# But i will try and make it last as long as possible, hopefully into my next accounting month.

My car failed then passed my MOT after having a small amount of work done to it today. Total bill including MOT fee, parts and labour came to £106.31 which i am quite happy about really as it could be (and normally is) a lot worse. So i have taken the £106.31 out my emergency/savings account, as this was one of the occasions i have been saving it for anyway. My emergency/savings account balance now stands at £731.38 ..... amazed i still have that much left after my MOT to be honest  :D

    No direct debits today

    Great news about the MOT.
Another milestone reached - the end is in sight which is very good news.
I'm looking forward to the end of the month report and your plans for the next few months.
