That's a really great way to save some money for next year. I have a box of old xmas cards stored with my stash of wrapping paper that i keep using each year until they are gone. Cards are just a waste of money in my eyes and the people i buy them for don't really pay much attention to them either, and they just end up in the bin anyway, so this old box full of cards is perfect to save me a few quid each Xmas.daisy_1571 said:Tezza if you have a card factory near you apparently all single cards are 5 for a pound. If you hate card shopping as much as present shopping get all your cards in a oner for the next couple of years or this year at least
Thank you for thinking of a great idea to save a few quid though. If i do need special cards i do tend to use The Card Factory as i find that the cheapest option mainly.Debts on Jan 6th 2025

I feel a little bit better today thankfully. I've not done my usual Tuesday food shop today as i still have lots of stuff left from my pre Christmas shop. I'm hoping i can last until next Tuesday to do my next shop.
I have thrown all my cheap Xmas veg into a big pan with some sausage and have made around 5 sausage casserole meals for the freezer along with a couple of meals i have had fresh today.
