I have made my second £20.00 deposit into my Trading 212 investment pie. The total amount of deposits this month is £40.00
Because it is the weekend tomorrow this deposit won't get invested until Monday. In future weeks i will only be depositing Sunday to Thursday, so my deposits get invested first thing the next morning Mon to Fri. But i wanted to get things built up a little quicker at the beginning just to start things off with, so i will depositing Fri and Sat this week also.
The pic below illustrates how my £20.00 deposit is divided between the 7 slices of the investment pie according to the percentage of each holding. This will be the same each time i deposit unless i change the percentage of each holding, which i don't intend on doing. I'm just showing this to start with so it is clear and transparent from the outset.
The total value of investment is £39.87 which is -£0.13 (-0.65% on the initial £20.00 invested, and not the other £20.00 only just deposited). This is nothing to worry about it is only just the start of my investing journey, there is a very long way to go and over time im expecting a positive return on my investment. (but please remember that investments can go up aswell as well as down and your capital is at risk)
