Question about 1p mobile

When I ordered the extra sims I did it through my account so now they are all linked to my account and share the same payment details, password and email address.alanwsg said:
The £5 credit you got initially was for 'referring' someone else to 1pMobile.Idontlikeworking said:I signed up to 1p mobile then I ordered 3 more sims and I was given £5 credit on each sim but what's the credit for.
(Because you ordered 3 more SIMs)
Slightly strange that your just 'referring' yourself, but that's what they do.0 -
Yes, and they still would have given each one a £5 'referrers' fee.Idontlikeworking said:When I ordered the extra sims I did it through my account so now they are all linked to my account and share the same payment details, password and email address.
I recently ordered a SIM with unlimited data for £12.50 and it came with £5 credit on it.
And I also got an extra £5 paid into my main account.
So, you should also have got a £15 fee paid into your main account.0 -
When I go on my account it shows my referrals and the bonus for the 3 sims is pending but it does say we will reward you with a £5 bonus for referring them once their account has been live for 30 days . When I ordered the extra sims I didn't know about the credit so is it worth having if my payments are set to recurring.alanwsg said:

OK, I'm a bit puzzled by this. Do you get the £5 credit for simply buying a another SIM from your account, or do you have to go via your referral link? Thanks.alanwsg said:

Thanks. On your account, there is a referral link, something like JxxxxxxR where x = a number. When someone uses your referral number to ask for a SIM, and tops it up, around 30 days later you will receive £5 into your 1p account as credit.I don't know about you actually buying additional SIMs, as the bonus/reward is called Refer a Friend.Incidentally, 1p Mobile are currently offering 50 GB with unlimited UK calls/texts for £10/month on a non contract 30 day rolling basis, with up to 14 GB available for EU/Channel Is/I of Man roaming. The downside of 1p is the lack of an "App", which is a bit tedious, and their very sluggish customer service.

Thanks, I realise that, but an earlier post seemed to suggest that you also got £5 credit if you just purchased another SIM from within your account (and presumably not via the referral link?).Frozen_up_north said:Stompa said:OK, I'm a bit puzzled by this.
